Work

When can I go back to work?  This depends on the extent and location of your surgery and the physical demands of your job.  After operations on the face, you should avoid bending, straining , heavy lifting, and anything that makes the blood rush to your head for at least a week.  Sedentary activity can be resumed as soon as you are comfortable, usually after 2-3 days.  After body surgery, twisting, bending or heavy lifting should be avoided for 2-3 weeks, again depending on the extent of your operation.
